    Stable WIFI Settings on 3006.102.5

Appreciate the feedback. I replaced my now unsupported RT-AC88U with the RT-AX88U Pro for security and scalability, but my existing devices are an anchor. What would be your though about putting all the cams on 2.4G while leveraging 5G for intended usage.

    Stable WIFI Settings on 3006.102.5

I have 5 more recent cams of the same model: two on 2.4G (unstable on 5G) and three on 5G; another cam of a different make on the 5G network; one older cam that is 2.4G only; and one 2.4G/5G cam that is currently on the 2.4G network. The reason for the latter is because I moved it to...

    Stable WIFI Settings on 3006.102.5

Thanks for pointing that out. I've been struggling with stability for a while with my cams and this is what worked. Please share your thoughts on what I can try next to both optimize the performance of this AX88U Pro while keeping the connections from periodically dropping out. Let me mention...

    ESPN Plus not working

I believe Diversion and Skynet use the same blocking list if you have both installed. What worked for me in similar situations was using Diversion to monitor the device while launching the app. This helped identify which specific domains needed to be whitelisted. The steps to do that are below.

    Stable WIFI Settings on 3006.102.5

I held off on upgrading from 3004_388.8 to 3006_102.5 until now since this was a major update and I needed time to perform a full reset and reconfigured everything manually. For context, I have several WiFi cameras, and while they generally stayed connected on 3004, I did experience occasional...

Have you tried using the new power adapter with your old router?

    ASUS ExpertWiFi EBR63 Firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_44544 - 2024/04/26

I experienced the same problem with WPS on v32645. Everything seems fine after the downgrades and subsequent upgrade, but hopefully ASUS has enough information to resolve these issues in the next release. UPDATE: ASUS acknowledged the issue and provided beta firmware to address the problem...

    ASUS ExpertWiFi EBR63 Firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_44544 - 2024/04/26

Thank you. Downgrading to v32645 does provide the option to enable DDNS. Before I enable the feature, which apparently survives the v44544 upgrade, I would like to attempt a different solution. Is there a command to enable DDNS via SSH? Just curious if there is a more efficient approach for...

    ASUS ExpertWiFi EBR63 Firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_44544 - 2024/04/26

Can anyone verify if there is an option to enable DDNS? I upgraded to firmware v3.0.0.6.102_44544 out of the box. The device was factory reset multiple times before resorting to ASUS support. Still waiting for a reasonable response from their L2 techs.

    Openvpn server intermittently down

I faced the same issue with my RT-AC88U a while back and started this post. It addressed the unresponsive VPN server and I never determined the root cause. I recently replaced the router with the RT-AX88U and was hoping the workaround would not be necessary.

    VPN Server Scheduled Restart

I appreciate the clarification. Thank you both again for sharing your solutions and teaching me something today.

    VPN Server Scheduled Restart

Thank you both for sharing those solutions. @ColinTaylor - I presume the initial code you provided executes the 'vpn-watchdog1.sh' script, and the second creates the script with the code you included. Does the condition in the IF statement just check if the service is running? The information...

    VPN Server Scheduled Restart

My VPN Server will cease to accept connections occasionally and restarting it using scMerlin resolves the issue. I might require extended remote access soon and don't want to lose connectivity. Is it possible to schedule a periodic restart of the VPN Server as a proactive measure until the root...

    Diversion Diversion Whitelist Comments

I really appreciate the guidance. The approach I took before reading post # 5 was to edit the last backup file, then importing it from the options menu. I could have restored an earlier backup, but this method also provided me the opportunity to sort the entries in a particular order. If there...

    Diversion Diversion Whitelist Comments

Awesome, thank you very much! Now let me press my luck. Is there a better way to re-enter my whitelist, with commentary, other than to delete all the entries and input manually? I'm still learning... EDIT: I just found the option to restore from a previous whitelist backup. I should have...
