    Asus vs Unifi vs ?

Small loop back into the conversation with prime day and all... Would you recommend a RT-AX86u Pro (currently on sale for $152) OR GT-AX6000 (on sale for $190) AND a second router to be a wired backhaul node? I can get a refurbished AX58U (AX3000) for $80? Thoughts?

    Asus vs Unifi vs ?

Thanks for exploring this. I do own my home but the current setup and the possibility of leaving in the next 2-3 years means it does not make sense for me to do all of the work at this time. I suppose that could change in the future though. Big picture is I'm trying to upgrade both the hardware...

    Asus vs Unifi vs ?

Thanks all. I do realize that 6GHz has a hard time penetrating walls and would not expect to have good 6GHz service on the second floor. Having said that, I currently get fine 5GHz signal on the second floor (with APs on the 1st and 3rd floor). One option I had considered recognizing that I...

    Asus vs Unifi vs ?

If the U7 Pro Wall had the built in switch like the U7 In-Wall I would have already made my decision go with the UDR7 and a U7 Pro Wall. The table mount option is for the U7 Pro Wall is very desirable. Is this the only wall AP that has the table mount option? I know I mentioned the desire to...

    Asus vs Unifi vs ?

Thanks for all of the feedback. I'm not currently interested in doing the full wiring ethernet wiring job in my current place because we may move. Having said that, I think the 2.5 Gbps MoCA backhaul would work is most rentals what we might consider moving to. My current device list: ~10...

    Voxel Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.2.37SF-HW

I just started experiencing a issue where Chrome won't load the router's webpage but Safari will. Any thoughts here? Thanks.

    Voxel Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.2.29SF-HW

Update since the last post. I got everything back to stock. When I try to downgrade an earlier firmware, Orbi makes me go through the full setup again. Ordinarily this wouldn't be a problem except that it take 5-10 min to load each setup page. Once I get through the setup, the Orbi works fine...

    Voxel Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.2.29SF-HW

So ran into a big issue with me devices today. I have a RBR50 and 1 RBS50. Earlier today I tried to upgrade the firmware from Netgear stock firmware 2.7.5.4 to Voxel 9.2.5.29. Neither the satellite nor the router seemed to reboot correctly. I was able to nmrpflash back to Netgear stock firmware...
