    Wireless antenna makes no difference

I understand, my only question is if it's has a diversity path, how come it is only using one antenna by default and getting perfectly good range with that one antenna from stock

    Wireless antenna makes no difference

Sorry, do you mean the interface in the laptop is a multiple radio device? From the factory, it only had one antenna connected. Maybe a Y split antenna.

    Wireless antenna makes no difference

Thanks but I dont think this antenna or the network interface is MIMO. This is the antenna. L-com 2.4 GHz 14.5 dBi Radome Enclosed Yagi Antenna | Yagi Antennas (gowifi.co.nz)

    Wireless antenna makes no difference

Hi, I have a weird issue with a wireless antenna, a Yagi. When connected to my laptop via a UFL to my antenna which I believe is a Yagi. However, when doing so it makes no difference to the WiFi signal at all. The antenna is a L-Com HG2415Y-NF Yagi Antenna 2.4.G Any ideas? Thanks

Random bogons show up on 0.0.0.0 for every MAC?

So, I'm curious, around the same time every night, I get these so called "bogons" showing up on the network with an IP address of 0.0.0.0. This also causes great network disruption; the client loses internet for periods of time on certain devices. Could be from 2 - 5 minutes at a time. DHCP...

New hardware recommendations to isolate IOT & IP cams

No, VLANs work at switching level, just a managed switch should support VLANs

New hardware recommendations to isolate IOT & IP cams

What you want is a managed switch supporting VLANs. Throw it in its own VLAN

I'm curious on the methods you would use to identify and pinpoint exposed devices

So im curious on the methods you would use to identify and pinpoint exposed devices. Unplug everything and plug one device in at a time etc? What methods would you use to find said infected device. Im curious as obviously with the sophistication of todays malware, detection can be near...

Is anyone else running ThreatLocker's OTX endpoint scanner?

Im curious to see if there are any fellow TL OTX users here? OTX is a OpenSource endpoint vulnerability scanner with updated pulses every few minutes of the latest IPs, Domains, and vulnerabilities out there. I have a few questions relating to it so if there are any OTX experts here, I NEED...

What's the best way to protect against this? Is this totally MIPS only and does not infect windows? Im running pfSense and I am 100% ive been hit with something sophisticated! I think its at ISP level

Unusually high DNS traffic - Is this normal?

Yea I thought so too, but would it just spew out DNS requests before the others fail. I wouldn't imagine it would wait for the request to fail then send another. No just SPAM them.

Unusually high DNS traffic - Is this normal?

Absolutely nothing, Chromecast is just sitting, sleeping. Its weird, I cant see any of the traffic flows on my WAN so im confident that my firewall is blocking it, but still! WTF. I also get a ton of arpwatch flip-flop notifications of client constantly changing mac addresses lol and then...
