    Got no advice for that. Never used as an AP on OpenWRT or Asus firmware. As regarding slow and unresponsive pages looks like happens only on wi-fi. I'm using it as wi-fi only lan connections.

    The problem is related to Asus firmware only. Have tested with OpenWRT latest firmware and the router is running as it should no issue whatsoever. Therfore by contacting Asus and received a generic reply how to reset and start over I have decided to return the product due to not fit for purpose...
