Release ASUS ZenWiFi XT12 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388.22127

It's been months and Asus has not done a thing about it. I rolled back to 3.0.0.4.388_21678 which is working. For the price point I am paying, I should not have to be the one troubleshooting this.

    TP-Link Omada

Sounds good. I'm not looking at long range. I'm looking at density. Like 50 devices in the space of half a tennis court. Most consumer routers like Asus and Netgear pushes for wide coverage and speed for single deivce. You often get frequent disconnects for some devices when there are more...

    TP-Link Omada

Anyone has experience with TP-Link Omada? It seems to be a clone of the Ubiquit Unifi? Been using a AiMesh environment for too long. Might want to move towards a commercial solution.

11ax or Wifi 6 Device density

On a separate location, I have used 2 x Xirrus X2 to setup Wifi. It solved the device density issue, but the performance for the high end device are meh and the roaming handover is poor. I was kinda disappointed.

11ax or Wifi 6 Device density

11ax is supposed to address the problem of density. Does 11ax router really help if you have a whole house full of 11n 2.4ghz IoT devices? Personal experience: 50 wireless device is like the upper limit my trusty ac86u can handle. Reliable operations is closer to 30 before some devices gets...

    Wifi setup for a office

Experts please I seek your advise please. My office setup is similar. 5000sqft, 50 users or 150 devices (assuming 3 device per user), trying to go completely cableless. I have a 2 options here. 5 x Ubiquiti UAP-AC-PRO + Cloud Key 4 x Xirrus (Riverbed) X2-120 with 3-year wireless management...

    Coverage vs Density.

Thanks, Interesting point of view. And something quite unexpected. Each AP, each band different SSIDs so 4 in all. 1. AP1-2G (2.4Ghz band) 2. AP1-5G (5Ghz band) 3. AP2-2G (2.4Ghz band) 4. AP2-5G (5Ghz band) Currently I have set all using the same SSID since it is simpler and allows for roaming...

    Coverage vs Density.

Having read through many reviews in Wifi Products, I noticed that most reviews are focused on coverage and throughput. However there isn't much coverage on performance when there are lots of low bandwidth devices. E.g. I have a Asus RT-AC86U and RT-AC68U AiMesh setup. While this covers the...
