I have one AX Router, but also a spare AC device lying around. I would like to turn the AC device into an AiMesh node, but also connect it directly to the internet via a cable from the modem. I want all connected devices to use that connection instead of going through the wireless backhaul...

Created a new network from scratch, with the XT8 only. Seems like the coverage is good in the entire house so far 👍 No mesh seems to be needed. Routers are clearly better these days

I just bought one ZenWifi XT8 v2 (AX) and already have an AiMesh with 2 AC devices. The idea is to use the AX as the router (replacing the AC device which will be sold) 1) I assume using the AX as the main router is preferable to fully leverage WiFi 6. Is this correct? Which capabilities would...
