    ASUS ax92u & ax210

The professional tab has the modulation scheme. You might not have mcs 11 on 5G1 since it's AC. Even then, the signal power and interference must be excellent for mcs 11. Are you using DFS channels on 5G2? You can check in the wireless log. If 5G2 is using channels 100-144, then you're using...

    Router for 46 m^2 apartment, capable of utilizing 1000 Mb/s connection. AX58U?

To set your expectations: Will your modem have multi-gig ports? If it's only gigabit ports, the link from your router to the modem will be bottlenecked at 940 Mbps. (edit: realistically, how often will you actually use the full connection in normal use) Other questions for more information: -...

AX86U link speed hitting 940mb/s but no wifi on any device can get above 600mb/s

The Tx/Rx rates you see in the log are the max link assuming 0 overhead, 0 interference and 100% dedicated connection between the router and that single device. In reality, hitting 50% of that in a speed test is nice. Your devices are also using 80MHz bandwidth. With 160MHz, your Tx/Rx rate...

AX86U link speed hitting 940mb/s but no wifi on any device can get above 600mb/s

If you go to system log then wireless log, you'll see the connection details between your router and devices. You'll see something like this in the bottom of the log: Stations List ---------------------------------------- idx MAC Associated Authorized...

    Asus XT8 (AX6600) 160MHz Client Channel Provision

Only 36-54 are allowed for 160MHz in Canada which are the channels used for 5G1. No 160MHz on 5G2 in Canada. Overlap that with XT8 only having 160MHz on 5G2, and you get no 160MHz with XT8 in Canada. (edit: typo)

[Root Cause Found] RT-AX88U Can't get link speed over 866.7Mbps with AX210 or AC-9260 WIFI in laptops (160MHz)

    Look for 63.(a) and 63.(b) 5470-5600 refers to channels 96-116 5650-5725 refers to 132-144

    2xAimesh AX-11000 : Wifi / Beamforming / MU-MIMO / Fairness Optimization

    5G1 It's by design: 5G1 takes 36-64 and 5G2 takes 100+

[Root Cause Found] RT-AX88U Can't get link speed over 866.7Mbps with AX210 or AC-9260 WIFI in laptops (160MHz)

Oh, thanks for the data point! So Australia is similar to Canada. The log shows that you're missing 120-128 so 160MHz on 100-128 will be unavailable.

If you can live without the 4 extra gigabit ports and the 4x4 2.4G on the AX88U, you could jump ship towards SNB's darling: AX86U. Also check the box to find the address. The Canadian one will have the Canadian branch address right after the Taiwan address.

[Root Cause Found] RT-AX88U Can't get link speed over 866.7Mbps with AX210 or AC-9260 WIFI in laptops (160MHz)

@kittmaster, out of curiosity, does your box have a Canadian address or a US address? Somewhere on the box, there's usually the Taiwan address followed by the local branch office. On that note, I can confirm DFS support on the following Canadian routers purchased in 2021: - AX68U: none - AX82U...

[Root Cause Found] RT-AX88U Can't get link speed over 866.7Mbps with AX210 or AC-9260 WIFI in laptops (160MHz)

You should still have access to the 36-64 160MHz bandwidth with the Canadian version of the router. It's just 120-128 that are banned in Canada. Plus, the log you showed seems say that it can access the Canadian DFS channels but your GUI is hiding them. That's just weird. Without exploring...

    2xAimesh AX-11000 : Wifi / Beamforming / MU-MIMO / Fairness Optimization

Is your node connected wirelessly to your router? On 5G-2, channels 149-161 might have a higher transmit power and might improve the RSSI on the backhaul link between your router and node. Never mind, just checked and the max transmit power is better on 100-140 in Europe according to this link.

[Root Cause Found] RT-AX88U Can't get link speed over 866.7Mbps with AX210 or AC-9260 WIFI in laptops (160MHz)

The issue is that @kittmaster can only see the non-DFS channels (post). Do you know if the router hides the DFS channels from manual selection if it detects radar?
