    Thanks RMerlin! That has helped! Not sure what the setting means, but i'll research it now. I am learning a lot with this setup (all things one doesn't need to worry about when using Apple Airport Express :o

    Router: RT-AC68U Apologies - that piece of information is obviously important. It's a RT-AC68U, firmware is 3.0.0.4.376_3626.

    hi, BEFORE - Airport Express Setup: I wanted to upgrade my wifi network, which consisted of two latest Apple Airport Express devices.
