    Build A Wi-Fi Performance Analyzer For $75

I went back and re-read both original articles and I see that you don't recommend the Comfast adapter anymore. I also went back and re-read this thread. and you mentioned that all AC adapters were being buggy. Is that still the case?

    Build A Wi-Fi Performance Analyzer For $75

Like crash, I just found this article. Looks like no one sells the NEO2 kit anymore. Any suggestions for a differ SBC or where to buy the NEO2?

    Last straw with Asus routers.

Try Mikrotik. Much more stable than ASUS in my opinion. I moved from an Asus Black Knight to a Mikrotik RB2011 and never looked back. Can do so much more than i ever could with Asus. (No offense to Merlin, he's a magician by his own right and has given Asus routers a boost) Sent from...

    Ceiling Mount AP Suggestions

On topic, I'd probably recommend 4 mikrotik maps or caps. Overkill, but would give coverage everywhere plus outside. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Double NAT and SAMBA

I'm not sure this can be done based on the DMZ issue. Normally, I'd say use static routes on both routers. Each router would have its on internal IP set (like they do now) and the. You'd connect another port (say port 5 to port 5 with a common subnet, such as 10.10.10.1 and 10.10.10.2) then...

    Wired Speeds Bottlenecked

Pretty sure you're at the max of the router. It's due to the inbound traffic having to go through firewall filters. If QOS is on and off, still no change, the you're at your max of the router. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Need some assistance on VLANs on a Mikrotik RB2011 router

The RB2011 router does have two switch chips. I mainly just use mine a home lab / soho router. However my wife is starting to work from home more and more, and I'd like to segment her specific port from the rest and prevent other subnets from being able to communicate with one another. I'm...

    Itus Networks Shield

Nice specs, but I seriously doubt it'll be able to deliver on all the promises it says. To protect against key loggers is not something I look for in a router. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How can my router be throttling me???

It's your router. Turn off your QOS settings and test. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    What Routerboard to get?

You also forget. Mikrotik is much more stable. I used to have to reboot my Asus Dark Knight once a week (sometimes more). My Mikrotik doesn't ever need restarting, ESPECIALLY when I make a change. That alone makes it better than any Asus router. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
