The current rating only needs to be greater than the router's need. The equipment will only draw as much current as is required. That "3 amps" is the maximum the supply is rated to deliver, but it is not used unless the attached hardware requires it.
Yep. My "race for speed" is confined to Formula 1 racing. On my LAN range is harder to achieve than speed (house is 124 years old and has thick walls). I rarely use as much as 100 Mbps.
Can someone please tell me what the new password requirements are, and if they are enforced immediately or only when the pw is next changed? I will wait to update if they are enforced immediately -- too many devices and users teach the new pw.

In recent a recent technical publication the AX86U Pro was been touted as having the best range of all routers tested by that company. The non-pro AX86 was given a similar honor before the Pro version was offered. In a 123-year-old house with thick walls this is important to me.
