    It's unfortunate because I've been using Merlin firmware with my Asus app for over a year without any issues, and this is the first time I'm experiencing problems. The Asus app has been the only reliable way for me to wake up my PC remotely.

    Issue with PPPoE Connection as Secondary WAN

    Yeah I wanted to use DUAL WAN in fail-safe mode, but using PPPoE as the primary WAN is out of the question because then services like Plex, RDP, and Wake-on-LAN don't work outside my LAN. For now, I'll have to settle for using it in load-balance mode too.

    Thank you for your thorough response! I’m using an ASUS RT-AX88U Pro router with the latest Asuswrt-Merlin firmware (v3004.388.8_2), but I also tried the official firmware before. I've actually attempted both methods of reversing the WANs. Didn’t work. Here is a video showing what happens...
