FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.2.4 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

I believe VPNs introduce latency and some providers are better at reducing it. I don't know how to avoid ExpressVPN affecting bufferbloat but perhaps someone here can offer some advice or correct me.

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.2.4 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

Forgive me for even suggesting it but are you testing for bufferbloat while connected to a VPN? I felt very stupid after realising I was doing that with ExpressVPN. My DSLreports bufferbloat rating was stuck on C no matter what I did with QoS. With the VPN disconnected and the rating became A...

    CakeQOS CakeQoS-Merlin v2.0.0 alpha

Can anyone confirm if the RT-AC67U is the Asus HND platform, necessary for the cake-qos alpha branch? I've had a decent online rummage but it isn't clear. Thanks. CPU Model BCM470x - Cortex A7 ARMv7 revision 0 - Rev. c0 (Cores: 2)

AC5300 performance, high CPU (or not), and AiMesh

For the record, this new firmware did maintain the low CPU load for a week. Or the second factory reset fixed it. Either way I'm sticking with 3.0.0.4.385.20433 despite the gimmicky gaming auto-port forward option.

AC5300 performance, high CPU (or not), and AiMesh

Thanks for your reply. I did think about the config file potentially being the problem but I ignored myself and carried on. It's good to hear it from a veteran in this forum so I will follow your advice for the next reset/initialise. I'll see what happens with this new 3.0.0.4.385.20433 first...

AC5300 performance, high CPU (or not), and AiMesh

I'm experiencing the same issue as OP with my RT-AC67U in a 1 node mesh configuration (AC1900 pair). Both CPU cores around 90% in the UI and [mtdblock3] showing around 42 % via top on the main router. Last night I did a 'Factory default' restore via the UI and checked the initialise box. I then...
