I've seen that term pop up a few times but haven't found a good resource to learn about it. I called Asus tech support but waited on the phone for way too long, I think ill call back today. I wouldn't be concerned if I had noticed this out of the box but I'm still pretty sure its a new thing

I first noticed this today. In a silent room it makes a faint scratching sound. It seems new to me but I have always kept it on a noisy laptop cooling pad until this week. Has anyone else noticed this?
