[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.20308 for All Supported Products

Hi all, has anyone tested if the speed limitation bug is still present? I noticed speeds were limited to around 300mbps during my testing of the previous firmware

[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.10007 for All Supported Products

So far (4-5 days), no issues so far. I actually just stuck to the RT-AC68U cause it was one of the cheapest routers that was AiMesh supported, and I already had one from my ISP. If anyone is using a similar setup maybe they can chime in as well to see if using the same model is less likely to...

[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.10007 for All Supported Products

Hiya :) tis as follows: Main: RT-AC68U Node x 2: RT-AC68U (both on ethernet backhaul) I did a full factory reset on all the routers, before engaging the setup process from scratch, and so far it's been working flawlessly. Only issue is that my wired WAN speed-test has been capped at around...

[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.10007 for All Supported Products

That's quite odd. The default SSID for all my asus routers so far (RT-N15 / AC1200G+ / AC68U / AC68U) have been ASUS & ASUS_5G.

[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.10007 for All Supported Products

Hi, I noticed from Richard Li's previous posts, that he was only able to get his to work by making the RT-AC68U the main router, and his RT-AC88U the node. Perhaps you can try that? P.S hi fellow s'porean =)

[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.10007 for All Supported Products

Yep should be default as you stated. You do all the admin from the main router however, basically once the node is factory reset, I didn't touch it until I added it as a node via the main router.

[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.10007 for All Supported Products

I already stated it twice in the post :) Ethernet To clarify, the nodes were only paired via wireless, after which they were relocated to their respective spots in the home, and connected via ethernet. I also selected "ethernet" via the connection priority option under node management because...

[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.10007 for All Supported Products

Hmm. I set up my main router / nodes as follows: Main: RT-AC68U Node x 2: RT-AC68U (both on ethernet backhaul) 1. Individually flashed / complete factory reset 2. Set up primary router 3. Paired each node wirelessly 4. Placed the nodes in their respective spots in the house then manually...

[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.10007 for All Supported Products

Hey guys, anyone noticed a slow-down with wired clients connecting to the nodes? My previous setup was: AC68U (Main) N15 (AP Mode) AC1200 (AP Mode) These were all connected via GigE ethernet. From my main PC which was connected via Cat 5E to the AC1200, it would get about 900~ Mbps down /...

I noticed that on mine as well, a reboot of the primary router fixed this however

[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.10007 for All Supported Products

Hmm so instead of behaving like a regular wired switch like it does in AP mode (assuming primary and secondary routers are connected via a physical network cable), AiMesh now forces the two to communicate exclusively over WiFi?
