    Combined or separated network bands?

Thanks. That's what I was thinking. I setup the new network using the same ssids as before. So far so good. I noticed the 5ghz range isn't that good. I currently have 1 GT AX600 and a rt ax58u. I have them in a mesh with a wired back haul. I'm in a 1900 sqft townhouse it's only about 25ish feet...

    Combined or separated network bands?

Picked up an GT-AX6000 over the holidays. Going to redo my network. For over a decade I've owned Asus routers and separated my 2.5 and 5ghz bands. Is this still recommended? I have about 45 devices, lots of iot etc

Asus AC3100 looking to go to Merlin

Thank for the input. I ended up staying on that build because I noticed a lot of issues with AI Mesh on newer builds. That's the main reason I'm looking to go to Merlin. I guess it light be worth it to just do my whole configuration from scratch.

Hi all, I currently have all my clients nicely named with thumbnails and have IP bindings setup for my nodes and stuff. If there a way to back this stuff up before going to Merlin?

So this weekend I tested all the cables in the new house and they all passed. made sure the node is set to force wired backhaul. Today I noticed the node is offline again (finally it has been good since last week). I do not want to reboot it since it takes so long for the issue to happen again...
