    Does vpnmgr work with the 388 series of Merlin firmware?

    Firmware is stable on RT-AX86u, but router did reboot when disabling Wireguard. I also am getting an error code 73 when trying to access Disney Plus when using WireGuard VPN that I do not get when using OpenVPN.

    Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 388.1 Beta is available for select models

    Flashed to my RT-AX86U. Performed a hard reset. Reconfigured and everything seems to be working well. I tried to disable Spanning-Tree Protocol, the router rebooted, and it re-enabled itself. Disabled it again with same results.

    Same here...high CPU usage with vpnmgr. I uninstalled it and CPU usage was still high until I rebooted the router.

    When you enable Wireguard, does it disable hardware acceleration on the router? Which I assume that WAN speed will be limited to around 350-400 Mbps when enabling Wireguard??

    I posted about this issue once before...I noticed that I could not manually select a 5GHz control channel below 100. I did perform a hard factory reset of the router and both of my AI mesh nodes. After the reset, I was able to select any 5GHz channel. I then added the two XT8 AI mesh nodes...

    Same here. After about 12 hours, wireless backhaul dropped to 2.4GHz. I am running on 80MHz channel. I rolled back to previous firmware version.

    I have the RT-AX86U. You are probably correct. I full factory reset may fix it, but I didn't want to spend the time to manually re-enter all of my settings, reinstalling addons, scripts, etc. So, I did a reboot and it did not fix it :(. Then, I rolled the firmware back to 386.5_2 and it...

    Clients connecting to 2.4 when they should to 5

    You can try a different 5Ghz fixed channel. There may be interference on the channel that you are using. I have my Smart Connect configured like this and it has worked well. It may or may not work for you.

    386.5 Alpha1?

    Running on RT-AX86U for the last 24 hours with no issues. For me, this alpha is running better than 386.4. I started getting 'nf_conntrack expectation table full' errors on 386.4 which affected my network, and I ended up rolling back to 386.4_alpha2. Since flashing 386.5, I have not seen this...

    RT-AX86u 2.5gb Port to Cable modem Max Speed Xfinity

    I have the Xfinity 1.2GB service with a RT-AX86U connected thru the 2.5GB port to a CM2000 modem and able to get speeds >950 Mbps. If you have QOS turned on, it will affect your speeds.
