    Hide folders in windows share

I'll try a step by step instructions: - Go to Administration/System - Set Enable JFFS partition to Yes - If JFFS was not enabled before, also set Format JFFS partition at next boot to Yes - If you had to enable JFFS, reboot the router (you do not need to reboot if JFFS was already enabled) - Go...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 3.0.0.4.374.32 is out

I had this problem in Firefox. What helped in my case was to go to "Options -> Advanced -> Network -> Offline Web Content and User Data" (in Firefox) and to remove all data stored locally by the router.

...and for those looking for some pixie dust for their RT-N66U...

Yes, if the router properly implements DFS and detects a weather radar, it will switch channels.

...and for those looking for some pixie dust for their RT-N66U...

I forgot to add that the local Hydrometeorological institute is trying to hunt down the operators of those devices (recently they published a list of SSIDs and MAC addresses of the offending devices). This is a problem everywhere in Europe (some weather radars had to be declared inoperable for...

Because the high 5GHz channels are very close to the frequency band used by European weather radars. This is a image from a weather radar that's close to my city: http://www.shmu.sk/data/data003/i4doa3cX6YQTrjDhPILwAFql0.png The south, southeast lines and one line to the northwest are...

wireless g device access to wireless n

I think you can check if the PS3 is really capable of connecting at N speeds by going to System Log > Wireless Log (I think this is only available in Merlin's build) This is what I see in the 2.4GHz stations list with the B/G only printer and an N capable android phone connected: Stations List...

wireless g device access to wireless n

I have a Brother printer (DCP-7070DW) that only "speaks" B/G. I forgot about this and switched my 2.4GHz radio to N only (RT-N66U). Few days later I spent two hours troubleshooting why the *** is the printer not connecting to my network. So, in my case a B/G device was able to see the N only...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 3.0.0.4.372.31 is out

No, you can use 443 for OpenVPN. The HTTPS admin interface is by default on port 8443 (but you can change that). 443 is used by AiCloud, but that can be disabled too. I actually connect (due to corporate firewall) to both SSH *and* OpenVPN on port 443 (http://www.rutschle.net/tech/sslh.shtml...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 3.0.0.4.372.31 is out

My (recent) update path was 270.26b -> 372.30_2 -> 372.31. I did a factory default reset (the proper way, reentering everything manually, not using the save/restore functionality) when going from 270.26b to 372.30_2.

    Asuswrt-Merlin 3.0.0.4.372.31 is out

Thanks! The only difference to my settings is that I have b/g protection off and the channel bandwidth set to 20/40MHz. After bit of experimenting I noticed that when I switch the bandwidth to 20MHz the channel selection works fine. When I switch back to 20/40MHz the channel gets stuck on 11 again.

    Asuswrt-Merlin 3.0.0.4.372.31 is out

I have the same problem. My router was on channel 1 before the FW update. After the update, the router switched to 11 and stays there no matter what channel I select. The green wifi status icon always shows channel 11 and inssider on a client machine confirms that too. Btw., while trying to...
