A good guide to setting up an Orbi system

I disagree with this. Yes it's showing age but @Voxel firmware has put new life into my setup. I recently purchased 6E mesh and returned within 2 days. Unless you want to drop $500-$1000 I'd keep and test what you got

A good guide to setting up an Orbi system

I would stick with the Orbi system. I think of it's setup properly you should see stable connections and speeds. I believe the recommended distance between them should be 30'-50' and less than 30' can cause issues. Are you using Voxel's firmware? If not I would highly recommend it. I would...

    Small issue with converted RBR50v2

I definitely think so. My home is roughly 5,000. I have the router on my main level then put a satellite in my basement, one on my top floor, and one in my garage for a total of 4 and seems about right for my coverage.

    Small issue with converted RBR50v2

You may have too many satellites connected. Have you tried to reduce them as a trial? https://kb.netgear.com/000062035/How-many-satellites-can-you-add-to-an-Orbi-WiFi-System?article=000062035

    Voxel Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.2.28SF-HW

Sorry I have not used daisy chain for years because before I started using VOXEL I had the same issues with stock Orbi firmware.

I had been using .27 for a few days and was having problems with my internet speeds and reboots. I also had to revert back to .26. Now running smooth again.

    RBK50/RBS50 Daily Disconnects

Swizzy - I assume that you have tried ALL the obvious? (factory resets on router and satellites?, disabling MIMO, Daisy Chain and Fast Roaming etc..) Yes from what I remember from the Orbi forums back in the day that a couple people had the same problems and never really found a solution to this...

    Voxel Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.2.13SF-HW

Haha I know.. pure laziness! I blame my wife and kids for not letting me take the network down to update

    Voxel Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.2.13SF-HW

I can confirm that Netgear's latest auto update to firmware 2.7.3.22 screwed up my system. Debug no longer allows Telnet just as CrimpOn said. This was my final straw and the reason I loaded VOXEL's firmware about 1 week ago and has been FLAWLESS!!

    Voxel Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.2.13SF-HW

Flashed my system to RBK50-V9.2.5.2.13.2SF-HW last night - went to stock firmware 2.5.2.4 then a reset to factory settings to just make sure everything went smooth before I flashed to Voxel's latest firmware. Very impressed with speed and reliability so far! I wish I had done this earlier...
