    Entware Entware armv7sf-k2.6 EOS

Nobody complains. This forum is a home for many, many people and I often have the feeling that I'm being included. May I ask you, as one of the great developers here, why you still seem to want to support your own and other projects? The other great people/developers seem to have disappeared or...

Solved Latest entware update borked up Unbound

Well, I see that other projects, such as Diversion, are constantly being developed? So you're saying there's nothing more to do there?

Solved Latest entware update borked up Unbound

I just wanted to post this in the original unbound thread, but I got a denial because it's been longer than six months since anything was posted. So here it is. 😀 First of all, my apologies for bringing this thread back from total oblivion. So please, be merciful with me. Can anyone say why...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 388.2 is now available for select models

Correct. I have a very simple default configuration and don't use Diversion or any other scripts. But I can trigger the dcd crash just by looking at the "Web History" (found on the Adaptive QoS page). Also several times and directly one after the other.

Then I obviously expressed myself wrong, sorry. I am aware that the dcd tainted crash has been around for years. But my question was: do you know of a (preferably newer) firmware that doesn't include this crash yet?

@RMerlin Referring to my previous post #455, do you know of another firmware where the dcd tainted error was not yet included?

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 388.2 is now available for select models

Updated on my AX88U with no problems. Thank you RMerlin. - However, thanks to TrendMicro, I don't want to leave the usual "dcd tainted" error unmentioned. Thanks also, TrendMicro, for your persistence not to correct this annoying bug for years.

Which in any case results in the notorious dcd tainted error after a few hours. Unfortunately I can rely on that. Mar 24 16:20:36 kernel: potentially unexpected fatal signal 11. Mar 24 16:20:36 kernel: CPU: 1 PID: 28975 Comm: dcd Tainted: P O 4.1.51 #2 Mar 24 16:20:36 kernel...

The dcd tainted error is probably responsible for this. Check the log.

    [ 388.2 alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

Unfortunately, and apparently no matter with which new version, the annoying dcd tainted error persists mercilessly on my AX88U. This causes, among other things, that WebHistory is no longer functional after a few days. Mar 15 01:26:07 kernel: potentially unexpected fatal signal 11. Mar 15...

Because of the dcd tainted error, it helps to factory reset the router and start over. The error is triggered by AiProtection. Alternatively, you can disable and revoke AiProtection.
