    Thanks for the reply. What's the difference between MoCA 1.0 and MoCA 1.1 throughput? Great, your vaporware is much better than their vaporware :-) G.hn's vaporware is even better though. Has MoCA benchmarked MoCA 1.X vs. HCNA 3.X?

    Those definitely won't work with cable TV, they are for satellite TV. Maybe you could make a little diagram of what you tried, that didn't work. Your original post isn't clear. Also, your Lowe's links didn't come out right. Splitters should work fine with the right configuration.

    You don't really need so many RJ45 jacks per room. You can always add switches if needed. Watch out, many routers have very limited static DHCP table size (in the stock firmware). Netgear is OK though. Make sure your switches have jumbo frame support. I would think you would want a real...

    Actually, that's not correct. There will be extra signal loss over using a 2 way splitter. Also, if the unused splitter ports aren't terminated, there will be reflections degrading the signal on the coax.
