    Asuswrt-Merlin AddOn Developers Donation Links

Addon devs should consider crypto. Especially as we are in a boom period so people are more likely to give. Nano is low fees to cash out of exchanges and free to send from private wallets.

Asus Traditional Qos for latency based games like COd

Dont worry about latency. As long as you dont have variable latency , then you can pinpoint issues down to packet loss. The problem with activision is they dont tell you the true packet loss even though they can...

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.2.5 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

Dave...is it easy to add a delay on upload or download packets like in Netem? I noticed some of the jargon is the same used in the code...tc etc. I ask because some games companies , maybe all , use Round Trip Time when calculating lag comp based on latency. Technically this is wrong as both UDP...

    Simulate Latency / increase latency?

I see there is a way to delay outgoing packets from the network. Is there a way to delay incoming packets?

    The mystery of online gaming.

Checking the routing to the game server IPs after changing DNS , showed no difference. This maybe another issue. It's like over time the responsiveness degrades and after the change its back to what it should be. Could it be something the server end? I have seen suspected DNS rebinds in the past...

    The mystery of online gaming.

Dunno where to put this but put this here because it is related to the DNS over TLS settings on the router. 1st off I used to use normal DNS settings and would occasionally switch DNS when gaming to see if things improved. Yes I get delay and generally quite dodgy gameplay at times. Sometimes...
