I've been having the same problem as well. 2.4 will work (sometimes not very fast), then will completely not work (5 and wired will work fine). I have to reboot at least once a day. I should mention I'm using the Ac66u.

I also have this issue. Ac66u, 20mhz, static channel, 2.4 channel drops consistently to my iphone and several Dell laptops as well. A reboot will resolve the problem but it has to be done about once a day. It is quite annoying.
