Problem connecting to OpenVPN server (RT-AC66U/380.70)

I'm having a similar issue connecting. It worked when I tested a few months ago however since then, a couple of things did change. I got FIOS and I updated Asuswrt-Merlin firmware on my RT-AC88U. That being said, I don't know if the fault lies with the firmware or with the new ISP (Verizon...

Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately, I have the same result. I even went in and deleted the script and recreated from the cmd.

    [Release 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.4 is now available

So as it turns out, just having a nat-start script is whats breaking it. I entered in the following commands in order to test the script. iptables -I FORWARD -i br0 -o tun11 -j ACCEPT iptables -I FORWARD -i tun11 -o br0 -j ACCEPT iptables -I FORWARD -i br0 -o vlan1 -j DROP iptables -I INPUT...

    [Release 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.4 is now available

So, I too am having issues with this release on my beloved RT-AC88U. I feel like o_O right now! I went from release 380.69_2 to 384.4_2. After updating, I initialized and reconfigured the settings with the exception of the nat-start script. I also run a VPN client using AirVPN service but...

Cant Access an IP Behind a VPN When I remote Into Home LAN (Policy Rules Strict)

Well I was able to get some clarity on this straight from the source RMerlin, "(Policy Rules Strict) change is done at a lower level than iptables - right at the kernel's routing table level, so working around it might be complicated". With this in mind, unless someone really experienced with...

VPN few Questions about IP Address, logs, policy

This thread has been really helpful. What command is needed to allow traffic to pass from the VPN server 10.8.x.x network when I VPN into my router to an IP (192.168.x.x) on my internal LAN that is going through the VPNClient and tunneling out? I'm using Policy Rules Strict mode.

Cant Access an IP Behind a VPN When I remote Into Home LAN (Policy Rules Strict)

It has to be either a static route or iptables rule. I'll try to do the same on y end today. Let's see if we can both get somewhere with this and hopefully someone else here will be able to chime in as well.

Cant Access an IP Behind a VPN When I remote Into Home LAN (Policy Rules Strict)

Could this be a simple route issue where I need to add a static route? I'm really stumped on this.

Cant Access an IP Behind a VPN When I remote Into Home LAN (Policy Rules Strict)

Hello everyone! Here is my environment. AsusWRT-Merlin FW 380.67 on Asus RT-AC88U OpenVPN Client setup on my router using AirVPN OpenVPN Server enabled on my router with 10.8.0.0/24 Internal home LAN with 192.168.x.x/24 I have a FreeNAS server running multiple jails 192.168.1.26 =...

Asuswrt-Merlin OpenVPN Server NAT - iptables Questions

Okay, I rebooted the router and with all 3 of those commands in, everything works.... Now we should still try to figure out about the rules for accessing with Policy strict mode enabled. --Edit-- Actually, the route command is not needed if you have don't have Policy Strict mode enabled.
