384.6 Now sharing data to Trend Micro?

Yea that's part of the issue I ran into... I have no idea what they are finding and how to remedy it Once I got an alert to a back door attack, no link back to TM to get more info or actions to take... Just a dashboard with a warm fuzzy line item giving generic peace of mind...

384.6 Now sharing data to Trend Micro?

Appreciate your point @Treadler , I differ in that (I feel) we ALL have accepted some compromise and in doing so have a reasonable expectation of some privacy and at the least, a very specific disclosure as to how what specific data is captured and how the data is used. Enzo

384.6 Now sharing data to Trend Micro?

Thanks @JWoo , It might be that the discussion got derailed a bit, and thats, fine... (Squirrel!) I'm advocating awareness, transparency to scope creep of privacy violations. Unless we call it out and demand more specifics/transparency, it will creep further, I assure you! My point about QoS...

384.6 Now sharing data to Trend Micro?

Thanks for reply FreshJR, Yes I understand that there is a EULA in place. My main concern is that their own listed url/site explaining what they capture/how they use it is NOT specifically detailed via their Embedded Router Features.

384.6 Now sharing data to Trend Micro?

Thanks @FreshJR , Yes I understand there has been a GDPR re-state/re-broadcast of EULA/PriPolicies WW on or before May 25ish. I don't recall there being initial agreements from BOTH ASUS and TrendMicro and I think the issue here is beyond initial notice date/method and springing on users but...

    [Release 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.3 is now available

@RMerlin Can't locate your preferred bug submission location, so going best effort here... Tools:SysInfo:Network Listing of switch ports is correct, i.e. MAC to PORT General:Network Map:Status:Ehternet Ports, appear "flipped". I think this was an older, and previously resolved, bug? Thx, Enzo
