    Correct me if I am wrong but I believe Tomato is only for routers with Broadcom chips. The Buffalo uses Atheros.

    Would the WZR-HP-G300NH provide a more stable connection? I am in the same boat as the OP and would like to stream from my NAS to my media player via wifi-N. I was also looking at the ESR-9850 but Tipstir said it wouldn't be adequate.

    Any news regarding this router yet? I've been waiting for reviews but I guess its a bit early. Was going to buy the ESR-9850 until I saw this one. Can anyone chime in about the router's performance, for those that have it? Thanks.
