Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.14 beta is now available

I use auto generated SSL certificate. Thanks for the workaround suggestion, but unfortunately it did not work for me, httpd still tries to start in SSL mode, and fails with same messages in syslog. There is one httpd process listening in the port 80, but only on loopback. tcp 0 0...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.14 beta is now available

I did dirty upgrade from 386.13_2 to 386.14_beta1 in RT-AC86U. Couldn't connect webui any more, but managed to ssh to the router and noticed that httpds wasn't running, it is started constantly and fails: Jul 3 19:58:45 RT-AC86U: start https:8443 Jul 3 19:58:46 RT-AC86U: start httpd:80 Jul 3...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

I get this with the latest Diversion (on Merlin 384.7_beta2). Does not seem to affect ad blocking though. [: bad number Diversion 4.0.1 by thelonelycoder RT-AC68U (armv7l) FW-384.7 @ 192.168.1.1 (ad-blocking and logging off, stats not available)...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

    Here it is: #!/bin/sh # DO NOT EDIT this part of the file # # generated by AB-Solution 3.11 if [ -d "/tmp/mnt/usbstick" ];then service restart_dnsmasq logger "AB-Solution added entries via $0" ln -s /tmp/mnt/usbstick/ab-solution.sh /root/ab-solution.sh cp -f...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

I updated AB-Solution to Diversion with port option and after boot noticed that link to /tmp/mnt/usbstick/ab-solution.sh was created into root's home. This comes from /jffs/scripts/post-mount where there is still code block from AB-Solution 3.11. I suppose this block can be removed now? By the...

    ASUS RT-N66U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.382.50470

Just flashed it too, and web gui is working ok. What browser are you using? For me Firefox has been working best for web gui at least in Linux. Try clearing cookies and site data from your browser for 192.168.1.1.

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.62_1 is now available

Nevermind, after powering off and on signal levels are OK again.

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.62_1 is now available

On RT-N66U in Site Survey Radio column shows 100% signal level for all APs visible. Anyone else having this?

[RT-N66U 380.58] Cannot set channel to 12 or 13 in the 2.4GHz band

I can confirm now that with 380.59_beta2 in RT-N66U channels 12 and 13 can be selected OK.

[RT-N66U 380.58] Cannot set channel to 12 or 13 in the 2.4GHz band

OK, thanks! So just have to wait for 380.59 for RT-N66U and hope it works here too...

[RT-N66U 380.58] Cannot set channel to 12 or 13 in the 2.4GHz band

Thanks for the interesting suggestion. However I cannot change extension channel to above, it returns to below. You seem to have 380.59, fixed there? Can you select 12 or 13 with 20MHz bandwidth?

[RT-N66U 380.58] Cannot set channel to 12 or 13 in the 2.4GHz band

Actually I have used channel 13 for long time successfully with my clients and a stock ASUS firmware. It is quite nice to have channel 13 available, having 4 non-overlapping channels instead of 3. I had to change the channel as Raspberry Pi 3 didn't support upper channels at first. Well now it...

[RT-N66U 380.58] Cannot set channel to 12 or 13 in the 2.4GHz band

Hi, I tried to change the control channel to more quiet 13 in the wireless 2.4GHz band, but although 12 and 13 control channels are on the list to be selected, after selecting 13 the control channel changes to Auto (and picks the channel 6) and a channel bandwidth changes from 20Hz to 20/40Hz...

    [RT-N66U] Cloudcheck on FW 3.0.0.4.378.9313

Hi, I have been running a new stock FW version 3.0.0.4.378.9313 now couple of hours and so far so good. But I was wondering if the new Cloudcheck agent feature is any good. So is anybody using it already? Useful?
