    Thank you. This works for me. I see no reason to disable the transmit now as it is just increasing the range of my original network all over my house which is a good thing. Thank you. I was thinking that mode would take out half my bandwidth for some reason.

    I'm not sure about that. To clarify I do not want to have an SSID on the repeater, hidden or not. I am sure there is no valid reason to have to transmit both a 5 and 2.4 band on the repeater when I'm not producing a 2.4 signal on the original AP. Got to be unforeseen overlook on stock FW..

    Hello All, I have 2 rtn66u's using Merlin's awesome 378.55 firmware. One is in AP mode running 5ghz only. The other is in repeater mode. The problem with the RT running repeater mode is I see no way to kill the 2.4 or 5ghz bands like in AP or Router mode. I would also like to set receive...
