    I wish I could, but I changed my AC68U with a AC86U. Now I use two AC86U for Mesh setup.

    Yes I can confirm that 3.0.0.4.384.20942 has wifi to lan speed problem. I was getting more than 20MBps before this version and it dropped to around 7MBps after update. 3.0.0.4.384.21045 also did not solved problem.

    Already tried, just reverted 68u back and back to normal speeds now. I couldn't find route cause for this. I don't use 2.4G much, I do my tests with 5G, 80MHz.

    I have a AiMesh setup with RT-AC86u main router and RT-AC68u as node. When I upload new firmware to AC68u, my network file transfer speed drops 22MB/s to 4MB/s. So now I downgraded to previous version at the moment.

    I have a AC86u and AC68u AiMesh system. Then I decided to buy another 86u and the version that came after purchase was a AC2900 (apparently same with 86u). I had the exact same situation with the new one as you. Flashed and reset to factory defaults many times. Even I set it up as wireless...

    Hello, I have bought this router recently. I think in some countries Asus gave a new name to RT-AC86u. It looks like they have same software and hardware, at least specs in Asus website says so. I want to ask is there any plan Merlin support this model also? Thanks in advance.

    RT-AC86 vs RT-AC2900

    I just bought RT-AC2900. Actually I was expecting a RT-AC86u but I think Asus now sends this model to my country. I already have another AC86u and they both exactly similar in tech specs and look. My question, is it possible to flash Merlin to this model because there is no file for this one.
