Malware damaging ASUS routers?
Same here! I was going to get ColinTaylor to help me but after the firmware update, I realised the error is gone, and I could use the wifi with no issues anymore! I posted the details in another thread here...- eugeneispeanut

Solved RT-AX86U dead WiFi asking for country code?
Hello all, just a little update on my AX86U router. I reached out to @ColinTaylor and he kindly let me know what I need to provide to try to fix it. Fortunately, the strange thing is my AX86U wifi was fixed after I messaged him, thus I didn't have to trouble @ColinTaylor and take up his time...- eugeneispeanut

Hello, stumbled upon this thread and my AX86U was having the exact same issues as described here and in multiple thread: Could not login with my usual credentials Reset to default and tried to use it as a mesh node (I bought a new AX86U Pro) but it couldn't join.
