    [Release 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.3 is now available

The best new release for me thus far! Thank you! Before, I could not use the 5g media bridge or Asus Router to Cisco Router which appeared to be routing related and had to remain on release 380.68_4. But now, everything is working correctly! Thanks again!

End of year 2017 development update

Thanks for the update and hard work! Still having a problem with the 382 code, I'll see if it is fixed in the next upcoming update. What I am witnessing; When I upgrade, my 5 GHz media bridge is no longer seen as a wireless bridge but seen as a network connection and it changes routing...

RT-AC66U in Media Bridge not connect 5ghz

I also noticed this between a Cisco 1811W and RT-AC88U after the 382.0 release. I noticed that the new code indicates the 5g connection from a wireless connection to a wired connection. I am able to ssh directly connected devices but all other devices connected through the 5g can not be...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.64_2 is now available

EDITED 12/17/2016 (Now that I am more awake) ... WOW! Cool! I didn't have to reset NVRAM and recover, I was able to upgrade the router normally with the 380_64 Stable without issue which was not the case for beta in which I had to recover to 380_61. But I was able to upgrade from 380_61 to...

    Is that even possible? :)

Help separating my network into trusted and untrusted

The problem with Scenario 4 is your guests use the same subnet as all the others, that bugged me, and created problems for a Windows Server I was using for DHCP and other services. The GUEST WIFI will not see the other guests or "regular" sides but it still uses the same pool as the other...

Thanks Xentrk, I will book mark this page link. I plan to do this Friday night. Sheesh, even when I am at home I have to schedule a maintenance window.

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.64 Beta is now available

Is the Restore button under Administration the only way to reset to factory or is there a CLI command that is much more powerful to use like write erase on a Cisco or request system zeroize for a Juniper?

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.64 Beta is now available

Should I be able to upgrade from 380_61 to 64 without an issue?

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.64 Beta is now available

What gets me is I was able to update to everything until 380_64, and now I can not even upgrade past 380_61.

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.64 Beta is now available

If I didn't follow those steps, I wouldn't have been able to recover to 380.61, correct? Is the recovery tool supposed to reset the configuration to default because after recovering to 380.61, my original configuration is still present?

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.64 Beta is now available

I haven't tried Firefox yet, but I have tried Chrome Incognito and Edge both wireless and on the wire.

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.64 Beta is now available

Thank you for the suggestion but I did exactly that and can only fall back to 380.61 and can not load any other code without it crashing using either the Recovery Tool or Upgrading code normally through the web browser. I was upgrading from 380.63_0 when this occurred.

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.64 Beta is now available

Hey all, I upgraded my RT-AC88U to this beta code and it would keep rebooting, so I recovered the router but I had to go all the way back to 380.61! And now, I can not upgrade past 380.61?! What is the issue and is there a way around it? Thanks!

State of the project (August 2016)

Thank you RMerlin for your contribution, you have done an awesome job! I hope I can see more development for the AC88 which replaced my (2) Cisco 1811Ws as the main connection to the Inet. I still use the 1811Ws for other things, one being a (slow) media bridge.
