    RT-AC87U and re-booting and 933-L D-Link Cams

Yeah it's been removed, leaving the Linksys setup in place for the time being. Maybe they will be able to firmware fix the 87U, guess time will tell.

    RT-AC87U and re-booting and 933-L D-Link Cams

Well it's nice to know I'm not losing it... Yes it has been totally random, I do not have interference with wireless devices in my home. I'd look at the cameras and wham, the LED's would be RED. Then I would recycle power and they would re-connect. I would check the router log and the router...

    RT-AC87U and re-booting and 933-L D-Link Cams

I put static IP addresses on the cameras and they have always run that way. This is a recent issue since the RT-AC87U. I don't understand why the cameras just do not re-connect even if the router re-boots itself. Wondering if anyone else has had similar issues using the D-Link MyDlink cameras...

    RT-AC87U and re-booting and 933-L D-Link Cams

Hello, I recently went from the original Linksys WRT1900AC to the RT-AC87U 2400. I have been running it for a few weeks.. I have noticed a strange issue that I did not have during my usage of the WRT1900AC. I noticed my D-Link 933L cameras status LED's are going red. If I recycle power on the...

RT-AC87U Idle Latency and AiProtection, Speeds

I agree Fax, so far it's been moving right along.. Uploading to the cloud, Netflix, Time Machine Backup running, and playing TF2 online all at the same time with no hiccups at all... Haven't tweaked anything so far but certainly happy with it. Not worried about the privacy deal, I think if...

RT-AC87U Idle Latency and AiProtection, Speeds

Hi Everyone, Just recently bought an ASUS RT-AC87U and have been playing with the settings. I noticed using DSL Reports Speed Test the idle latency doubles at least when AiProtection is turned on. Tried different firmware up to the very latest and it does the same thing across all of them. Is...

    Linksys WRT1900AC wireless stability?

rt-ac66U to WRT1900 I have had the same issues with the ASUS ac66U. My IP cameras would constantly disconnect on 2.4Ghz and one of them is literally 15 feet away with one wall in the way. Microwave turns on forget it.. One reason I run as much as I can on 5Ghz. However between the daily IP...

    Access Point Question

IP address Yes I will try that next time I get out there and see if that takes care of the issue. Thanks.

    Access Point Question

Will try that.. Yes "yikes", but no medical or finance considerations there.. They decided to share it, despite explaining issues.. So you can only explain so much before people switch off... He just wanted his phone wifi to work... So that's all I'm helping him with... Jlake I did try the...

    Access Point Question

Lan Port and Router Hello, Thank You for the replies.. I did in fact plug it into the LAN port and not the WAN port and I am not sure what limitations or any reside on the main router. I did disable DHCP on the access point I plugged in. Unfortunately this is a small building where a few...

    Access Point Question

Hello, I'm trying to add an access point in another area of a building where a network cable has been run. (i do not have access to the main router). This was put there so the user could plug in his laptop via the cable. However, he has a phone that he would like to connect as well via wifi...
