Unbound Cannot Install Unbound / S02haveged 404 error

Working normally for me (although I did a complete reinstall on the router - not sure if that made a difference). Think the biggest change from 3.22 to 3.23 was switching the repos. (Could be wrong!)

Thanks for the quick fix @Martineau, update went nice and smooth.

Unbound Cannot Install Unbound / S02haveged 404 error

Today I decided to do a complete reinstall on my router, something I hadn’t done in a while through upgrades. Everything went smoothly until I tried to reinstall Unbound. The installer made it through router checks, entware updates, and then threw a 404 error trying to download S02haveged and...

Have you tried to TFTP original firmware? I’ve recovered this way in the past. https://kb.netgear.com/000059633/How-do-I-upload-firmware-to-my-NETGEAR-router-using-a-TFTP-client-on-Microsoft-Windows

Unbound Unbound no longer running after upgrading to 388.2_beta2 (from 388.2_beta1) [Solved]

Interesting, I didn’t have any issues with unbound after upgrading to beta 2. However I did ensure to stop unbound (via unbound_manager) and unmount the USB drive. Not 100% it would have solved your issues but it’s another data point.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 388.1 is now available for all supported Wifi 6 models

Curious if you have any additional add-ons running, or have tweaked some of the default Wi-Fi settings. The reason I ask is I had the exact same issue on my AX86U, but a nuclear reset with minimal add-ons (YazFi/AdGuardHome) and default Wi-Fi settings sorted my issue.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 388.1 is now available for all supported Wifi 6 models

I had a similar experience when upgrading my AX86U via a dirty flash. Mine was resolved by doing a full reset (nuclear) and setting up from scratch.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 388.1 is now available for all supported Wifi 6 models

Just upgraded my RT-AX86U this afternoon. Did a nuclear reset first to get a good state for it. After a few hours everything is still working well… so no more odd Wi-Fi issue that I had on the beta.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 388.1 Beta is available for select models

This is what happened to me as well. Only fix was going back to 386.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 388.1 Beta is available for select models

I installed betas 1&2 on my AX86U over the weekend. On both versions, I had the same Wi-Fi issue in that there was noticeable delay in loading anything (not visible on Ethernet). It is almost like a massive ping before it would resolve and start loading data. Like 10-20 seconds of delay, a...

Router Performance of RT-AX86U - 386.7 vs latest stock

Thanks for the replies, and what you’ve found is very interesting. I actually bought a 2nd thinking it was defective, but before unwrapping figured I should go back to stock and check. Seems like I’ll be returning that as it should behave the same.

Router Performance of RT-AX86U - 386.7 vs latest stock

tldr; Is anyone able to see router speedtests on the AX86U (386.7) >1gbps? And if so, any tips/suggestions? Hey everyone, I know I’ve seen some posts with questions about speed tests/router performance. But haven’t seen one that seems to get at the behavior I am seeing. I have a 1.4 gbps...
