for me, I gave up on 388.1 on ax86u. there are some disconnections that I just can't fix even after multiple reset and configuration.
I reverted back to 386.5.2 which is very stable in my environment.
not really. I don't think the ubw flex xg supports lacp.
if you really want 2 x 10G, then you need to get a NAS with native 2 x 10G + a managed 10G switch that supports lacp.
My vote goes to GT-AX6000 if you are after good price and performance.
But if you have money to burn then get GT-AXE16000, it's the greatest but cost 700usd.
I have directly connected AX6000 to AX86U using the 2.5Gbps ports. Status shows 2.5GBps. But when I performed iperf3 between them the speed is just 1.2Gbps. See screenshots below. Is this expected?

Just to share, I previously used an Asus main router + TP-link routers configured as gigabit wired APs. There are no issues aside from seemless wireless roaming. I have tried all the wireless settings available on all devices but clients can't just roam properly from Asus to TP-link and vice...
I have a nas that is used for cloud backup, so basically during night time for scheduled backups, I want it to run it at full bandwidth with no qos. I’m ok with it not having qos since I control the machine.
I also don't understand why Asus needs to implement this even if you are using single wan. I use to blank this out on 386.3.2 otherwise my dns server will be filled with this. Unfortunately you can't blank this out on 386.4, since you will encounter the disconnected issue on network map.
