    ^^ thanks for your detail info, make sense to me.. I have 20Mhz for 2.4 and 40Mhz for 5.0. I do see 6-8 networks in my neighborhood.

    ^^ Actually I did came across the same article you posted. looks to me this DVD player dont support 5GHz band, Had I know that i be upgrading my router I wouldnt have bought this Sony model on black Friday.. now let me verify my if Dish Hopper supports 5GHz or not, i have read mixed...

    I upgraded my SW to x374_979 and also create a new SSID for 5GHz, now the Sony DVD player can see the 2.4GHz SSID but not the 5GHz SSID, But it locked in fine on 2.4GHz and I can see movies. Why he not seeing 5GHz SSID because I like to try that too for faster speed. My iphone 5, Samsung...

    I install my new ASUS N66U Router today. Upgrade to latest Sw x374_720. Initially had problem with iphone5 but finally fixed it, all my phones, ipads and PC with W8 working, but my sony BDP-S3100 connects to the ASUS router but Internet failed, so cant see any Movies. I verify all the settings...
