If i want to apply the new patch should i first flash back the 1.0.2 CFE ?

The CFE of i did it before while running linux, now i see everybody talking about another bug fix that is suposed to do someting with the routers mac adress. I am already running the 64k CFE from the beginning, so i was wondering was there something wrong with the first 32k<>64k patch.

\ Did you set a static IP for your pc ? In the case you did not set a static IP adress for the router please try to set one. In my case the problem was with the DHCP server of the N66U, after setting a static ip the problem was gone.

Hi there I have flashed 64k cfe right now and i am a happy merlin wrt user. But i was wondering if i can still flash tomato firmware because if you flash ddwrt 32k it will brick. Does anybody know if tomato detects the nvram automatic ?

It works under 64bit , i really think that VMware is the problem when compiling instead use virtualbox. Its free and afterward you can delete it.
