HOWTO: NETGEAR ORBI RBR750 and RBS750 V7.2.6.31_5.0.24 for 2.4 GHz only network
Orbi MESH is only intended to support indoor home use and some just out side of the home. Not intended for whole property coverage. Actually v.21 was the most stable version of FW. Was fully beta tested and had great results and opertion. Was first FW version to support a separate IoT network...- Furrye38

Orbi Gen 1 Updated to Voxel from wrong stock firmware
What is Gen 1 Orbi? Model# makes more sense. Check with Voxel to make sure his stuff is supported. He only supports one or two models.- Furrye38

Voxel [R7800](Still) unable to (re-)enable AnywhereAccess
Possible that the app doesn't or no longer supports 3rd party FW. Or netgear does not support it since the R7800 is EoL.- Furrye38

Netgear Orbi RBK50 / Voxel: Wireless backhaul options
If your distances between the RBS and RBS and each other is good, say 30 feet, the RBS will connect to each other if placed out in a line from each other. Called daisy chain on the 50 model. If you want or need the RBS to connect to each other, then daisy chain needs to be enabled on the RBR.- Furrye38
