    Why should I factory reset? Will it only work with the 10.8.0.0 network? Good security advice, but first I'd like to have it work. nslookup google.com 192.168.1.1 works too.

    I've deactivated NAT at the 86U and the 1194 is forwarded to the 86U. I'm using a ubuntu openvpn client.

    I'm getting internet access with all my devices connected to the router. Oh of course the router LAN IP is 192.168.2.1 and the WAN IP is 192.168.1.253.

    So, just VPN-wise? AC86u is capable of DD/OpenWRT so there should no big difference between the ASUS and Linksys or do I get anything wrong?
