The AX86U has hardware accelerated VPN support (AES-NI), so should be sufficient for running VPN on it. You can assign devices by IP address to either go through the VPN or have them bypass the VPN. You can even run multiple VPN's (from different providers) at the same time, and assign clients...

Hi. Newbie here. I Upgraded my RT-AX88U from V386.7_2 to V386.8 via dirty upgrade yesterday, never had a problem before 386.8, but now I lose my internet connection every few hours and have to restart the router. I'm not sure why (I've attached the log), or what to do about it... Thanks.

Hi. I have Wifi turned off (both 2.4 and 5g) and I also turned Roaming off, but I still see Roaming Assistant (roamast) still running when I run top? (I tried killing it, but it immediately came back) Any idea why? Is there some way to permanently turn that service off? Thanks.
