So got my replacement AX88U rev A1.1 made in china with firmware 3.0.0.4.384 Updated to newest firmware and can say it is waaaay better now, no problem reaching out to the garage with 2,4ghz now. Seems like it was a faulty unit.

Tiny update on ax88u, they are sending a new unit. Should arrive on tuesday.

I did actually disable 5ghz band on ax88u and it made no difference in signal strength on my phone or laptop. I went out to test it too. And the tx power adjustment setting didn't actually do anything either.

I'm going to send it in for repair. On avarage 2,4ghz is 20 dBm worse than 5ghz. Has to be faulty unit.
