Connect two wireless routers to create new subnet (ethernet only)

Currently, I've got two wireless routers connected as one large bridged network. The first router is provided by Comcast, the second router is an AC3200 running Merlin in bridged media mode. I'd like to break it up into two different subnets where the second router only uses wireless to connect...

    Traffic redirection to squid

I guess I should have said transparent proxy.

    Traffic redirection to squid

I want to experiment with the squid proxy server and I want to redirect web traffic (just outgoing port 80) from one of my hosts (10.1.1.120) to squid (port 23002) on (10.0.3.40). It's not clear where to make this change. It looks like I'd have to add a custom firewall rule to do this and you...

AC3200 goes crazy and loses all contact

Probably about 20 in all. That's computers, phones, tablets, TVs, DVRs, printers, even another router running a strictly 2.4Ghz wireless network. The AC3200 is only hosting wired and 5Ghz wireless. I've started charting the data usage with rrdtool to see if I can see any patterns. I'll also...

AC3200 goes crazy and loses all contact

I've had one for a few weeks now and this problem occurs maybe twice a week. I'm running the latest release (380.57) of Asuswrt Merlin. My computer is hardwired to the router, but there are also wireless devices connected. When the problem is occurring, all of the traffic activity lights will...

Cascade routers, two networks, can't see each other

I turned off the firewall on the AC66U and now both networks can see each other. I was also able to only have a single static route from the AC3200 to the AC66U and still have the networks talk.

Cascade routers, two networks, can't see each other

I've got an AC66U and an AC3200. The cable modem is connected to the AC3200 and an ethernet cable from a LAN port on the AC3200 to the WAN port on the AC66U. The AC3200 has the network 10.1.1.0/24 and the AC66U has the network 192.168.1.0/24. The AC3200 has a real internet address and 10.1.1.1...
