Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.6 is now available

Confirming the same here - working beautifully

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.6 Beta is now available

Dirty upgrade from alpha 15 hours ago. Everything working stable for me - including WAN VLAN tagging and FlexQoS (with FC disabled). Not sure if it is placebo effect: I noticed (also in the alpha) that 2.4GHz Wifi for my fringe device (Rainbird Ardurino dongle -85db signal level way out in the...

Auto logout not working as intended?

The latest Alpha Build for my RT-AX86U (3004.388.6_alpha1-gb287d474ae) seems to have fixed the Auto Logout. Now everytime I go to the browser IP it's asking me to login fresh without having logged out during the last sesssion - just as expected... Before it would work for a couple of days and...

    [ 3004.388.6 alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

Alpha1 applied. Router running stable - including WiFi, VLAN Tagging (TAG 201 for Quantum Fiber) and FlexQoS (with FC disabled). Will post again only if anything doesn't work for me...

Auto logout not working as intended?

It's always been like that for me too... Both on Asus Firmware and Merlin - all the way back to at least my previous RT-AC68U - and probably even before then...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.5 is now available

That's been the case for me forever - somehow the login cookie expires and the browser servers half stale data... I am pretty sure stock does the same...

Need help with Bufferbloat at 400/100 speed

Your router can't handle FlexQoS with 400/100. But the bigger question is: Do you have any real use issues beyond the test showing 100ms download Bufferbloat? If not then just ignore it...

    [ 388.4 alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

RT-AX86U with FlexQoS. Updated 11 hours ago. Tested Flex classifications still working. All working 100% for me

Switching to Zen Full Fibre from BT Full Fibre

Try running the Ethernet from your ONT to the WAN port. You may need to power cycle the ONT VLAN on the WAN Port is no problem. My Quantum Fiber connection uses 201. set it in the IPTV Tab under LAN-IPTV e.g. Ask the provider if you need PPoE or anything else and set up accordingly... (mine...

FlexQoS FlexQoS 1.3.2 - Flexible QoS Enhancement Script for Adaptive QoS

Try with Flow Cache disabled - on the AX86U that's the only way FlexQoS (or Asus Adaptive QoS) classifies correctly....

    Packet State for 2022

Thank you @RMerlin for all the time and effort you put in - and the patience you have in putting up with us. That extends to all the folks here that write (or wrote) add-ons and improvements that add to the magic. If it wasn't for that I would probably not have bought my last two Asus...

Is this Normal temperatures for RT-AX86U

Completly normal if your room is a bit warmer and well within normal range... I get the below with 24C ambient temperature - standing on my office desk (so no airflow restrictions)... 2.4 GHz: 45°C - 5 GHz: 46°C - CPU: 68°C

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 388.1 is now available for all supported Wifi 6 models

I agree that it doesn't make sense - just sharing my observation. Any 100mbit/s connection shows in yellow with the warning - I guess someone at Asus forgot that there are 100mbit/s devices out there...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 388.1 is now available for all supported Wifi 6 models

There is nothing wrong then... I get the same message on the line that connects my OBI202 (that has a 100mbit/s port). Anytime you connect at speeds other than 1gig the router shows that warning...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 388.1 is now available for all supported Wifi 6 models

Does the TV have a 100mbit/s Ethernet port? That would explain the message and there is nothing you can do.... Otherwise check the cable...
