    net-snmp on AC68U

As I mentioned in the first post I belive it's not sending 64 bit counters. 32 bit counters can do up to 114Mbps. Above that the ac68 doesn't seem to be sending any data at all. The counter is not rolling over but just doesn't return any value. I wonder if any of the other snmp implementations...

    net-snmp on AC68U

Noone uses snmp traffic statistics on the AC68?

    net-snmp on AC68U

Anyone else running net-snmp on AC68U? Seems like it doesn't have 64-bit counters and when the traffic on an interface exceeds 114Mbps no value is returned. Is there any fix around this?

    net-snmp on AC68U problem

I was able to install net-snmp through asusware on the AC68U. It start fine on install. However, after router reboot it cannot start any more and complains that a library is missing. I also had nano installed and it cannot start either again with a missing library. On top of that, the exec path...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 374.40 is out

I have HE tunnel working fine on .40.

    Asuswrt-Merlin 374.40 is out

In that case try a different computer with a different lan card. It is a weird issue.

    Asuswrt-Merlin 374.40 is out

I have had that issue with one firmware on my router through wireless. Try uploading the firmware from a hardwired computer. That worked for me.

Ping response via wi-fi - Is this normal?

It's some kind of incompatibility I'm guessing. I have the exact same problem with my macbook pro (latest generation) and AC68U. It also used to drop a lot of packets but after I turned off beamforming on the router it mostly spikes RTT to 100-200ms and goes back down to under 1ms.

ASUS N66U LAN ports only 100Mbps

What you see as current speed reported by the driver doesn't really mean much. It can fluctuate all the time. To check your actual transfer speed just copy a file from a pc connected to a lan port to one connected to the wifi. That will give you real stransfer speed. The machine with the wifi...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 374.40 is out

Get your facts straight. Flashing over wifi is perfectly safe as the file is first uploaded, then the router checks it and if the check comes back ok it is flashed.

    Help Please

Test your wireless speed by transferring large file(s) from a hardwired computer to one connected to the wifi. ISP speed is never guaranteed and may also vary based on multiple bottlenecks on the route from the server to your ISP.

    Beamforming issues

I can see a small difference on file transfers (more stable speed) but I also see that huge packet loss. The MBP is the late 2013 model with 802.11ac adapter. It is a very weird behavior. I'm starting to think that the AC68U wifi drivers just don't play well with the mbp's adapter. I used to...

"Type 7 Radar Detection" - What does it mean?

Yeah, it has to do with the DFS channels. It will reduce power / jump channels when it detects signals like that. That does not affect the old lower and upper 5Ghz channels.

Slow 5ghz and webbrowsing often stalls at "Waiting for website.com..."

For the waiting for website problem try disabling all beamforming. That solved a similar problem for me. For slow speed, are you testing speed from PCs one on lan and one on the wifi? 802.11ac triple stream does well over 500Mbps real-life speed. I can achieve 55-60MB/s over it every time...

    Beamforming issues

The spec for ac has a version working with compatible adapters and one that works even if the adapter does not support it. I have no idea if the macbook pro's adapter supports it or not. I couldn't find any information on it.
