    [Thread-1] [ 386.1_Alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

Running a4 on both the router and node. This is the first build that I actually have clients assigned and working though the node. Previously, I saw good status on the backhaul, node was added, etc. Everything was great, well, except no client ever used the node. I have zero issues with a mix...

Beta ASUSWRT 386 RC2 public beta with full functions AiMesh 2.0

I don't have a VPN and would rather use Google DNS and DDNS, so I think the paranoid label doesn't apply. For 100% of those who are going to factory reset a router, changing a single device's IP isn't going to be a huge part of the prep and setup. Since it does seem to bother you so, why not...

Makes little difference to anyone who does not use as the LAN address space.

I have had no trouble with going straight to a Merlin load from a factory load within the same branch/version.

    Settings Static IPv6 on RT-AX88u

First, try setting to stateful. You'll then see more configuration.

    [Thread-1] [ 386.1_Alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

Applied the newer alpha 3 to my AX86 (Router) and AX58 (Node) I had to manually set the MTU for my WAN connection or there was no Internet available. Then, I noticed there was also no IPv6, I did a null change on a couple of setting there and rebooted the AX86. IPv6 was alaive and well...

    [Thread-1] [ 386.1_Alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

Updated my AX86U and AX58U to today's (13 Nov 20) alpha build. No problems in upgrading, but after the upgrade, I had no internet to any client, wired or wireless. I could ping any site from the Tools- Network Analysis, I could do nslookup and ping sites from my PC or any other device. None...

Merlin firmware for the new RT-AX86U?

Somebody is going to be in trouble. It seems the price was actually for the PCE-AX3000 which is $49.99 Best Buy's algorithm simply matched the price. Now to see if they will ship or send error email to everybody.

Beta ASUSWRT 386 RC2 public beta with full functions AiMesh 2.0

So, you're saying that Google is less secure than ASUS? Odd opinion. I'd just avoid the file and wait for the release were I you. Keep your door closed and locked.

    Basic setup for MoCA

Unless it is coax in the walls, it will not work. If there are splitters that are not MoCA compliant (min 2GHz better 2.3 GHz), it will not work. If you find that the physical is fine, then yes, use a POE filter. That will keep your signal within your walls. Most MoCA adapters have encryption...

Ambient Weather Device Loses Connection Nightly

I set a guest network up using 2.4GHz with a separate SSID. Disabled nearly all features in the Professional tab. That solved my disconnect issues for both my 2902A and my 2000-C consoles.

Thanks, the router hadn't been powered off in days. But the reboot took care of it.
