Really bad quality on 2.4Ghz - help troubleshooting

From what I tested, channel 6 seems clear, so I'm using that. I'm not sure what are the default settings anymore in the professional tab. I've messed with it quite a bit to see if I can improve things. Do you happen to know how to obtain the default settings?

Really bad quality on 2.4Ghz - help troubleshooting

Using RT-AX88U with Merlin fw. This is the settings I have on the 2.4Ghz: and: Going to site survey > advanced troubleshooting: I get really bad results when testing speeds with clients that are 5 meters in direct line of site (i.e., Samsung Galaxy S23+, or my laptop). Barely scratching...

Can't block clients from connecting to a mesh node

Using RT-AX88U and ZenWifi XD4-Pro. I'm trying to block my doorbell wifi from connecting to the Zenwifi mesh node. Though it is in the roaming block list, it still connects to the mesh node, which is weird because it's also a weaker signal than the router which is physically closer to the...

Is there any benefit buying a tri-band mesh node (to extend the range) for my rt-ax88u (dual band)? I'm thinking of the XD4 Pro, but happy to reconsider if there is something better.

Need advice on which Asus mesh device to pair with my AX88U

As someone who just moved houses, I need to extend my wifi coverage, but I'm unsure about the factors I need to consider. I own the RT-AX88U. It sits far away from my living room which doesn't allow for a wired connection. After some reading, I thought about getting the Asus ZenWifi XD5 and...

Is it possible to add the correct channels for my router? Or is there a region which is similar to Israel in channels?

Devices can't see router when 5Ghz band is greater than 48

I'm not sure if it means that now, in 2023, the UNII-3 band for unlicensed use is only up to channel 48 in Israel or what? My TV can't see 5Ghz band when I'm setting the router over 48 and I believe because it is by current regulations, but overseas (Australia) IoT devices and mobile phones to...
