I have a similar setup, HG612 and AC68U, I had to run an ethernet cable to my sky mini box, 2TB box already wired and had no issues, mini box was wifi but it didn't connect to my Asus it connected to the main box's mesh type system, now I have all my sky boxes connected to a gigabit switch so...

I know what RA does and what its for, I have 3 devices, 2 of which in same room as the node, that would not stay connected to the node unless RA disabled, hence why I went back to using AP's, with separate SSID's and have a little more control over the AP's and the said devices now stay...

I have same issue, except I'm using just AC68U's as main and node, was only stable with RA off so went back to one main router and rest in AP mode until mesh is more reliable.

I had this before on an AC68u and a Roku 2, long story short it stopped doing it after I turned off roaming assistant in the router, wireless, professional settings on the Wireless band that the Roku was connected to, never happened since, might not be your issue but worth a try.

I was hoping it wasn't chromecast as my TV has Android OS and couldn't find where to turn off chromecast......I see Asus official firmware has an update for client list so hopefully will sort it on merlin soon

I have the same issue, no matter what I set the bandwidth limiter too I get full speed on speedtests. I'm using RT-AC68U on latest Merlin on the day of the post, I've decided to just leave QOS disabled until its resolved.

I have same issue on latest build too on RT-AC68U, glad to know not just me....when I try to set it it asks for every device to be setup as a separate rule, how did you set the IP address range? As thats what I would like to do, cheers

I don't have anything technical to add, neither am I complaining, I don't have that many wireless devices as I wire what I can but my phone lights up randomly saying "connected to my 5 ghz network" so not sure if mine is dropping out too. No issues otherwise with latest release.

Looks like you where bang on with the reboot, powered router off and on and now my BQM is behaving nicely, just need to try 2 XB1's together later, cheers!
