No. I could give it a go. On my side it opened a few more options when I chose 'Yes' there so I left it to No. Will be back with an update. Thanks for the quick reply!

378.53 - OpenVPN Server - Ignores ccd files - Possible bug?

Hi everyone, I'm trying to use the ccd files on the openvpn server running asuswrt-merlin version 378.53. I have the feeling that the ccd files are ignored by the OpenVPN server. Could someone please check or confirm that the ccd files are used by the OpenVPN server on the asuswrt build? On my...

    asuswrt command to failover dualwan

Cool! It worked just fine. When initiating the ifconfig vlan2 down (in my case) it will down one of the interfaces, then the router fails over to the other WAN and raises back the vlan2 interface. Thanks!

    Dual Link Experience w/ RT-N66u or RT-AC66U

I use 3.0.0.4.246.20 and Dual WAN works fine for me in failover mode. I didn't had time to upgrade to a newer FW that has the DualWAN UI fixed so you can easily update the WAN NIC properties. On my setup, WAN is set to PPPoE and LAN1 is set to DHCP.

    OpenVPN: help a dummy

One more thing to add: I also tried to create a dh2048.pem key and the OpenVPN server would not start. I switched the whole thing to 1024 key length and everything started to move. Hope this helps. You'll need to copy the content of the key files on the Router web admin page under the...

Openvpn - can't ping the openvpn clients from LAN

Cool! Thanks for the reply! It works with the 2 rules and I'll play with the rules you specified to find out if that all all rule caused the issue. The FORWARD chain is not bypassed as it started to work when I added the 2 rules. Br, gmx

Openvpn - can't ping the openvpn clients from LAN

I found the answer to this question by my own. It looks that if you want to allow traffic between the OpenVPN clients (tun21) and the LAN clients (br0) you need to add some iptables rules to the nat table. To do this, you need to enable SSH and connect to the router over SSH. Then at the...

    Openvpn settings

Hi everyone, I made a few tests with the openvpn server from ASUS RT-N66u with RT-N66U_3.0.0.4_270.26b and the only way I can connect using the openvpn client is if the server is set to start on the port TCP 1194 and the interface type set to TUN. The results I pulled out are as following...

Openvpn - can't ping the openvpn clients from LAN

Hi everyone, I generated a few certificates and set an OpenVPN server on an ASUS RT-N66u with RT-N66U_3.0.0.4_270.26b. When I connect from WAN to the router using the OpenVPN client I get an IP address and I can ping the IPs from the LAN. However, when I'm in the LAN and I try to ping the...
