Wireless router with good coverage for a large home ?

Only just noticed this thread... @ahmadka I've been using the Archer AX11000 for more than two and a half years, and I cannot complain at all - it is (as @Tech9 observed) top notch; you only have to get used to its questionable looks. In fact, I like it so much that I'm hesitant to buy the...

TP Link Archer AXE16000 - poor upload speeds (~1 Mbps)

Music to my ears, mate. Now I'll just have to get one of these. ;) But what the hell for? As my AX11000 is coping so admirably.

TP Link Archer AXE16000 - poor upload speeds (~1 Mbps)

Right, I mixed it up with the AXE200 Omni (https://www.tp-link.com/en/home-networking/wifi-router/archer-axe200-omni/). I appreciate the design, but the motorized antennas could be a potential source of trouble. Keeping my fingers crossed that you get somewhere with that session.

TP Link Archer AXE16000 - poor upload speeds (~1 Mbps)

Well then, since you've done everything (and specifically turned QoS on, set your speeds manually, and then turned QoS off), I'm out of ideas - especially as I haven't got the exact same model. One other thing that comes to my mind is that I was experiencing a ton-load of really weird and...

TP Link Archer AXE16000 - poor upload speeds (~1 Mbps)

Well, I've got the Archer AX11000 (had it for more than two and a half years) and it's never misbehaved, I always get my 940 down and 60 up no matter what. I assume you've gone through the troubleshooting steps listed in the TP-Link thread, and specifically set your correct download/upload...

Asus Wifi6 Router for NAS and Time Machine QUESTIONS

If you want a router with excellent wi-fi range and very good USB/quasi-NAS capabilities, and would tolerate it not being an Asus, I would highly recommend the TP-Link Archer AX11000. I've had mine for just over two and a half years - rock-solid, runs like a champ. In terms of wi-fi range, it...

    RT-AX86 Series

Use this link: https://www.asus.com/us/Networking-IoT-Servers/WiFi-6/All-series/RT-AX86U/HelpDesk_BIOS/ and you can easily select a model.

RT-AX92U USB smb seems fragile, crashes router

Being blunt, I'll just stay that Asus routers don't seem to be much good at the pseudo-NAS function. For example, my RT-AC86U, when I had it a couple of years back, was atrocious - I'd get slow downs, just like you, and the router would also create weird additional partitions on the HDD/SSD...

RT-AX89X - what is the "correct" price?

Exactly, I'm in the EU as well - that's why it added the shipping and import charges. So for us, the Amazon price is 554,03 USD. Still some 100 USD or so less than the "European" price, but American prices usually seem to be favourable. Although this could be due to some extent to the fact that...

RT-AX89X - what is the "correct" price?

I just checked on Amazon US and you are only partially right - 411.77 USD plus 142,26 USD shipping and import fees, so the difference is not that large. And @ColinTaylor is right, there is a shortage of electronic goods and prices are going crazy.

AX11000: the Control Channel (128) and bandwidth (160 MHz) that I set get reset after a few hours of uptime

Perhaps, then, your theory is right - hit or miss. Since I only had the Asus AX11000 for a couple of days, I can't advise anything more specific, maybe some longer-standing users can. But do you have the opportunity of testing any other Asus router models or different router brands - Netgear...

AX11000: the Control Channel (128) and bandwidth (160 MHz) that I set get reset after a few hours of uptime

With all due respect, this sentence is simply not true as an absolute statement of fact, as you are trying to present. I myself have been using a TP_Link AX11000 for just over a year now, and have always used DFS channels - always. Also, I live in the EU, in a city with about 1,000,000...

    What happened to RT-AX86u?

The unofficial Covid Tax, that's why. Basically, the prices of most routers - especially the AX ones, irrespective of manufacturer - have risen over the past year or so, and continue to rise. My specific observation from Europe, but it's a global trend.

    RT-AC68U Print Server problem

What about trying to hook up the AC-68U to the Archer C20 as an AP/range extender, or is this not viable in your situation?

ASUS GT-AX11000 and 2.4ghz wifi problem

Do you have any external usb disks connected to your router? A known cause of 2,4 GHz problems.
