I'm afraid that it may be a HW issue because I already tried factory reset. No luck.

I did a factory reset, I restored fw (official and asus merlin) using asus restoration utility. I have NOT cleared nvram. How could I do that?

asus ac3100: 5GH (eth2) interface not operational: 5ghz led off, devices can't detect 5ghz signal, wl command reports that wl driver not found. Tried reloading fw (both asus and official) via regular procedure and also rescue mode.
