flexqos gives you more insights on what app is doing what also it seems to prioritize while cake uses he equal treatment/fair bandwidth for everyone or am i wrong? the reason i am using QOS now is to avoid glitches in IPTV streams which seems to help a bit

I recently tested bufferbloat performance again on my RT-AX88U normally it was very good(A+ 0ms increase) but now latency is all over the place. last year my internet increased to 400/40 Mbit. i suspect that this speed is to fast for cake to handle i have also read about disabling HW flow cache...

exactly. SCP is a life saver. using winscp on a pc will get things done so much quicker on the router. without it i am lost. Thanks @RMerlin

388.6 was stable 388.6_2 was not stable now running 388.7 and it looks like this one is stable as well. in case of trouble i will try a factory reset but for now everything seems stable
