    Wiring Mess

    If the existing cables are accessible (attic / crawlspace) you may be able to use the existing cables to pull new wires (down / up) through the walls. It simplifies getting new cables to the jacks. If the cables are stapled to the studs or make sharp turns inside the wall it won't work, but...
